The Magic of the Forest & The Magic of the NFT Community

I often long for the peace and quiet that is found in the forest. I appreciate the songs of the birds in the day and the sounds of the frogs and crickets, among other animals, throughout the night. I spent the past two weekends camping in the forest, essential breaks from so much activity, responsibility, and noise in my daily life. One day, while walking through the forest, enjoying the beauty around me ... the browns and greens of the foliage ... at some point along the journey, I thought, I would just love to see some yellow along my walk, as it is my happy color and always makes me smile. A moment later, a yellow butterfly fluttered along in my view. It was as if nature heard my request and obliged. I smiled, thanked the forest for such a magical moment, and enjoyed the beauty. Along the same walk, I mentioned to my husband that I always loved seeing lightning bugs (aka fireflies) as a young child and I wished they would appear so that I could share that experience with my son David. That very same evening, while sitting around the campfire, we happened to look up and noticed the blinking little bugs flying above us among the treetops. It was another magical moment in the forest. The forest brings a sense of wonder, of magic, to my heart.

While quite a bit more fast-paced, a sense of wonder, of magic, also exists in the NFT community. It does require some exploration, just like walking through the forest, but for most, whatever it is that you seek, it is being created. Even more exciting & magical, there is a sense of community - connecting, building, growing, and sharing inspiration, stories, successes, and support amongst one another. Just as the trees connect and share nourishment underground, many members of the NFT community connect and share in the background, in addition to what is posted, shared, liked, and retweeted for all to see.

While the trees will always bring me back to the forest, the people will always bring me back to the NFT community.
